Ulysia started her career with BlueScope Buildings as an intern in the Accounting group while she was wrapping up her Accounting degree from Southwest Baptist University. Through her 21 years at BlueScope Buildings she has developed from an intern to her current role as our Regional Finance Manager for Butler. She is viewed as an easily accessible leader within our organization with the ability and desire to provide superior guidance and service. She is a reliable source in regards to understanding our financial and manufacturing processes and business strategy.

“I truly enjoy coming to work every day because of the awesome people I get to work with.”

Fun Fact

Ulysia looks forward to football season because her husband is so distracted that she can shop as much as she wants!

Finance – Ulysia Castleberry, Regional Finance Manager

Paul has a degree in Business Administration and Accounting degree from Kansas University. For most of Paul’s career he has been in Finance related roles. He joined BlueScope Buildings 5 years ago in our Finance department as a Sr. Accountant. A couple years ago Paul expressed an interest in learning the IT side of the business so we helped him develop these skills and he is now a successful Programmer Analyst. Paul has the rare mixture of technical skill and mathematical ability, combined with a 'can do' personality. This makes him the go to problem solver for complex data challenges at BlueScope Buildings North America.

Paul said that the best part of BlueScope Buildings is “the ample career opportunities that it offers. With a wide range of areas to work in, from Manufacturing to Engineering and Finance to IT, BlueScope Buildings offers its employees the unique opportunity to explore a number of different careers. Also, management’s initiative to invest in innovation and technology gives us nerds the chance to work on some really cool projects. ”

Fun Fact

When we asked Paul what his favorite flavor of ice cream was he told us “That's a tough question. Picking your favorite flavor of ice cream is like picking your favorite Friends character. Impossible. I pass.”

Information Technology – Paul Trigoso, Programmer Analyst

Lesli has touched many aspects of the business during her 28 year career with BlueScope Buildings including Detailing, Dealer Support, IT, Marketing and Area Sales Manager. Her breadth of experience has allowed her to creatively guide her builders to solutions beyond just buildings. She has truly become the trusted advisor to her customers. She aggressively sets her personal goals and pursues them relentlessly rarely failing to meet the expectations of the business or her customers. The builders not only respond positively to her energy and excitement, they truly want to work with her and give her their business.

Fun Fact

Her ideal superhero doppelganger is Iron Man because she for sure wants to be able to fly and loves the technology of the suit.

Sales/Marketing – Lesli Crawford, Area Sales Manager

Karrie began her career as a Customer Service Technician with Liberty Buildings, former division of BlueScope Buildings, before she moved into a Project Manager role. Karrie is very dependable with excellent work ethics. She is always helpful and will go over and above the call of duty to assist anyone.

Karrie said that the best part of BlueScope Buildings is “the people I work with (internal & external). Having worked with them for these years they have all become to feel like a giant extended family.”

Fun Fact

Her favorite weather season is Fall because the color changing and she loves to sit around the fire pits with her friends and family roasting hot dogs and of course making s’mores.

Project Management – Karrie Goetz, Project Manager

Brian began his career with BlueScope Construction as a Field Engineer intern. He graduated from Pittsburg State University with a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management. Brian came on board full time as a Construction Superintendent and has become an integral part of the team. He has demonstrated outstanding leadership in safety and customer service. Brian was recently the recipient of the Ralph Brueske Award which is given to an individual that exhibits an excellence in Execution, Dedication and Safety.

Brian said that the best part of BlueScope Buildings is “being an integral part of one of the few companies in the business that offers a true turnkey product. The ability to design, manufacture, and then ultimately manage the construction process all “in-house” is pretty incredible.”

Fun Fact

When it comes to having a favorite season of the year Brian does not, he enjoys them all. He likes to frequent the ski slopes in the winter and the lakes and beaches in the summer.

Construction – Brian Wildschuetz, Superintendent

Junie has worked for BlueScope Buildings for 27 years as a Machine Operator at our St. Joseph, MO manufacturing facility. He has a great attitude and has proven dedication to the company and his job. He helps with special projects when requested and can always be counted on.

Junie said the best part about BlueScope Buildings is “the camaraderie. It is like family here. You see more of them than family sometimes and you get really close to them.”

Fun Fact

The trip that Junie would most like to take in his lifetime would be to go to Hawaii.

Manufacturing – Junie Hawkins, Machine Operator

Naria has worked for BlueScope Buildings for a little over 14 years. She is able to multi-task and deals well with change. She effectively communicates to ensure that we meet customer demands in a safe manner. She is an integral part of our shipping department. Naria is currently taking advantage of the company’s tuition reimbursement program to obtain her degree in Business Administration.

Naria said that the best part of BlueScope Buildings is “most definitely the people I work with. They are all team players and over the years they have pretty much become like family to me.”

Fun Fact

Ever since Naria was a little girl, she has always wanted to visit space so this would be the trip of her lifetime.

Manufacturing – Naria Mongkon, Traffic Specialist

Sherreka has worked for BlueScope Buildings for 2 years as an Engineering Technician in our Greensboro, NC location. She excels in AutoCAD and goes out of her way to help. She is pleasant and cheerful individual who helps to live our Bond and lead community events for our location.

“What I like best about BlueScope Buildings is the chance to learn. There are so many detailers at this location with decades of experience who are willing to share their knowledge with you. In the short time that I’ve been here, it feels like I’ve taken in so much new information, not only about metal buildings but working in general drafting, savings, and even health.”

Fun Fact

The trip that Sherreka would most like to take in her lifetime would be to Rome. She loves architecture and there are numerous sites around the world she would like to visit to see various examples of architecture. However Rome is one place she’s wanted to visit since she was a child.

Engineering Technician – Sherreka Clay, Engineering Technician

Daniel has been a Structural Engineer for BlueScope Buildings for 4 years at our Monterrey Mexico office. He has a bachelor’s in Civil Engineering and a Masters in Business Administration. He is disciplined, organized, responsible, has a great service spirit, ambitious and always willing to take challenges and shares his knowledge with others.

Fun Fact

If Daniel hosted a party and was able to invite 3 famous people he would include Roger Federer, Michael Jordan and Zinedine Zidane because they are the best inside the court or field and still manage to maintain a great reputation outside as well.

Engineering – Daniel Bortoni, Civil Engineer

Angie has been working for BlueScope Buildings for 18 years. She welds, material handles, paints, and trains, she is a go to person. She has a great attitude and is a respected part of the manufacturing team. She accepts challenges and meets them head on. We could use more Angie’s in our workplace.

Angie said that best part about BlueScope Buildings is “the people I work with. Have lots of friends and a great team.”

Fun Fact

If Angie was a box of cereal she would choose Rice Krispies Snap, Crackle & Pop. She likes those little dudes! Plus she said, you can make treats out of them.

Manufacturing – Angie Pritchett, Welder

Henry has over 20 years of experience in Human Resources and Manufacturing Management. He holds a B.S. in Human Resources and a M.B.A. from the University of Tennessee at Martin. He is also certified as a Senior Professional Human Resources by the Human Resources Certification Institute and was certified as a Six Sigma Yellow Belt. Henry has been the Human Resources Manager at our Jackson, TN manufacturing facility for over 5 years. He is a people person and is always looking to interact and communicate with all employees. The Plant Manager at the Jackson facility always says that “if you can’t work with Henry you can’t work with anyone. He is always very friendly willing to help everyone.”

“When I think about BlueScope Buildings, the things that comes to mind is the value that is placed on its most valuable resource, the people. I have never been part of an organization that is totally committed to having and maintaining an environment and culture where there is so much emphasis on safety at work and home.”

Fun Fact

If Henry were a box of cereal he said he would like to be Frosted Flakes because “They’re GRRREAT!!”

Human Resources – Henry Smith, Human Resources Manager

Chris served in the United States Army and is a graduate from the Military Policy Academy. He began his career with BlueScope Buildings over 10 years ago as our Security Supervisor. Through this role he continually put safety first and led the locations to keep safety at the forefront of our business. Chris is currently one of our Regional Environmental Health and Safety Managers. As a Regional Environmental and Safety Manager, Chris leads the development and implementation of all our compliance software platforms; and is the liaison for safety support and communication. Chris has a passion for safety, and is constantly searching for innovative ways to enhance our systems tools. Chris' "Can-Do" attitude makes him well respected throughout BlueScope Buildings.

“BlueScope Buildings has a dynamic and diverse workforce with people from many different backgrounds working together to achieve our goals. My job allows me to travel to all our locations and I am frequently amazed by how many great people work within our company.”

Fun Fact

If Chris were hosting a dinner party and could invite 3 famous people he would include Paul Thorn for the music chef Gordon Ramsey, hopefully he could talk him into preparing the meal and Thomas Sowell, for the late night philosophical discussion.
